Our Cancellation & Refund Policy

At New App Service, we are dedicated to bringing your app vision to life. Because app design is a personalized, creative service, we have standard procedures in place regarding project cancellations and refunds.

1. Our Services

This policy applies specifically to our App Design Services, which involve creating bespoke digital designs, prototypes, and layouts tailored to your unique requirements.

2. Your Right to Change Your Mind (The 14-Day 'Cooling-Off' Period)

In the UK, if you buy services online, you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of making the payment or signing the contract.

3. How We Start Your Project

We are excited to get started! We usually begin project setup, research, and planning immediately upon receiving your deposit or initial payment.

Because we begin work quickly, your cancellation right is affected:

  • If you cancel within 14 days AND we have NOT started work: We will provide you with a full refund.

  • If you cancel within 14 days AND we HAVE started work at your request: If you asked us to start immediately and then decide to cancel, we will deduct a reasonable fee from your refund to cover the value of the time, planning, or design work we have already performed up to that date.

  • After 14 days: We cannot offer standard refunds. Please discuss your situation with us.

4. If You are Not Happy With the Quality (Faulty Service)

We work closely with you throughout the process, including revision stages, to ensure you love the final design.

However, you are protected by the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. We guarantee our services will be provided:

  • With reasonable care and skill.

  • As described to you in our proposal or contract.

If you genuinely feel the service has not met these standards, please contact us immediately. In these cases, you are entitled to have the work performed again (e.g., additional revisions) at no cost. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction or, in extreme cases, a full refund.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

  • A brief statement that you wish to cancel the service.

6. Processing Your Refund

If you are entitled to a refund:

  • Timeline: We will process it within 14 days of the date we agree you are entitled to it.

  • Method: We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
